If you thought playing “Wake Me Up When September Ends” would get you out the triple digits- you were wrong. Arizona’s second Summer is making its way through the desert, as the car season heats up. Our members were all across the valley to bring you coverage from Otto’s Bagels & Bullsh*t, the Barrett Jackson Fall Auction - including the Future Collector Car Show, and more of Old Town Scottsdale’s Fourtillfour cafe.

Bagels & Bullsh*t
The Otto Social Club hosted their first Bagels & Bullsh*t car show of the season this past Saturday. A handful of our members were able to attend the wonderful turnout. With the newest change of shutting down the street just outside of the venue; we saw a great shift in where the cars were able to park and get set up for more photo opportunities. The parking was filled with beautiful rides, the bagels were tasty, and the weather was bullshit once the sun got over the trees. Don’t miss their next event on the 25th of January!

Barrett Jackson Fall Auction
The Barrett Jackson Auction has made a home in North Scottsdale, since the first event back in 1971. The auction has grown year after year, which has lead to two Scottsdale auctions in the year 2024. History was broken in January with the company’s record-holding $207.6 million in total auction sales and over 190 world-record auction breaking sales. This included 2,016 vehicles that were sold at no reserve. An additional 794 automobiles were sold this past week- highlighted by Rock ’n’ Roll legend Sammy Hagar’s cream LaFerrari, which sold for a whopping $4.675 million.

Future Collector Car Show
Barrett Jackson has worked to bring together multiple generations in safe and friendly environments. The Future Collector Car Show is specifically a great addition that focuses on the next generation for years to come. The event allows contestants to enter with any Post-1980 automobile, while spectators can wander the grass to check out the heavily modified and well-preserved rides. This Fall’s Best of Show winner was Brent Coleman and his lovely 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage.

Fourtillfour - Aircooled VWs
The unforgiving heat doesn’t stop the true enthusiasts and this is evident from the Fourtillfour cafe’s air-cooled Volkswagen event. A few of our members made a quick stop for some coffee and vintage VWs, prior to heading to the Fall Future Collector Car Show at Barrett Jackson.
