Car Week Special - Rolex Reunion

Comin' atcha with another rendition of Motorsport Monday, covering this year's Rolex Reunion at Laguna Seca!

A lot of those "not on my bingo card" moments happened for the Jumoke team this year. We never expected to step foot onto the track, pilot our own gold cart, and especially not help cover a private shoot with Porsche Penske.

The Track

The renowned WeatherTech Raceway is the one place that car owners can (legally) push their beasts to the limit during the famed Car Week. The vehicles are driven with extreme speed and precision around the challenging terrain. The competitive drivers leave it all out on the historic “Corkscrew” turn and its 59-foot drop, amongst the remainder of the 2-mile track.

The Paddocks

Walking the paddocks is like being at a body-building competition. This is where the final preparation happens. The contestants are oiled up and set off to be judged by the best. This is where months of fine-tuning and minor adjustments can make the difference between first and last place.

Formula One 75th Anniversary

The Rolex Reunion marked 75 years of Formula One with legends from every era. Porsche’s 804 and the Mercedes once piloted by Stirling Moss sat in quiet reverence, while Senna’s Lotus 98T carved laps in classic JPS black and gold. Lauda’s TAG-Porsche McLaren MP4/2C brought the boost with its signature turbo shriek echoing through the hills. Keep an eye out on @weathertechraceway for the video and most importantly - the soundtrack we captured!

Piloti

The Piloti booth or the start of your next adventure? Most behind the wheel find this as the starting point to gear themselves for peak performance. If it weren’t for Piloti’s shoes, our team’s four days and 40,000+ steps around the track would not have been achievable. Plan your next 'venture with Piloti.

Pagani Huayra R Evo

The Pagani Huayra R Evo Roadster left it all out on the track. With the boss in the crowd and thousands of eyes ready to witness the beauty of Arte in Pista - the Pagani team left a loud impression. This was one of our team’s favorite moments from Laguna this year. We can’t wait to see what might show up to show out in 2026!

Mercedes and the Stirling Moss

There are very few places in the world where you can see both a classic and modern rendition of the 300 SLR (Stirling Moss). And while the focus on the track this year was the F1 anniversary, it was even more incredible to see these two art pieces round the iconic raceway.

Porsche 963 RSP

Our team's biggest surprise of Car Week came from some private time with the one and only Porsche 963 RSP. When we were told that it was going to be driven on, and around, the track - we knew we had to be ready to capture the surreal presence that the car possessed. We got in position, changed positions, and changed positions again and again as it broke necks around the roads of Laguna Seca. Here is a glimpse of what our view looked like during that time.

We'd also like to take the opportunity to thank WeatherTech Raceway, Kahn Media, and the entire Porsche Motorsports team for the incredible opportunity.

Making art and showing our perspective to the world is far more than a job, but a deep passion. We are just as grateful for the car owners at the weekend cars & coffee events, as any inquiries you send. The media allows us to constantly reminisce of peaceful, petrol-filled mornings. We hope that you can join us and see where the road leads.
