26 July 2025 - Countdown to Car Week

Car Week is right around the corner, but this weekend reminded us that the scene never really sleeps. We covered three unique events, shot two Editor’s Choice features, and watched a new era begin while another came to a close.
After decades of weekend tradition, the Rock 'n Roll Car Show at the Pavilions officially wrapped up this Saturday—marking the end of an era for the Arizona car community. But with that chapter closed, a new one is already starting: Adam’s Polishes will be hosting a night event every other Saturday, kicking off with the first Saturday of each month.
The calendar’s shifting. The cars aren’t slowing down. Let’s get into it.

Ace's Cars and Coffee
New name, strong start. Ace’s delivered a great mix of platforms—GTs, tuner builds, and high-end exotics all parked in front of their red-brick garage. This is a prime example that sometimes a little bit of change is just what the doctor ordered.

Toy Barn - Lone Mountain
The Toy Barn garages have become a strong point in the foundation of the Arizona Car Scene. With a soon-to-be eight total location - enthusiasts from all across the valley have had the opportunity to see what all the fuss is about and no one has been left disappointed (or hungry). Even in the heat of the summer, the corridor of garages are lined up with one of the broadest displays of automobiles you can find. Take a quick step in the clubhouse for a wide selection of pastries to enjoy while you chew on the eye candy parked right outside.

Fourtillfour - Adventure Cars
The crowd was lighter, but the Car Club pulls through. Between a row of classic Land Rovers and Car Club members showing up in a Viper GTS-R GT2 race car, this morning reminded us that "adventure" comes in a lot of forms—and not always with ground clearance.

Editor's Choice
Shot at golden hour in the hills outside Scottsdale, this Mustang reminded us that sometimes the best roads are the ones you don’t plan for. The setting was simple: open asphalt, vintage gauges, and the sound of a small-block V8 climbing through the gears. A timeless car in a timeless setting captured the way it should be: in motion, under the sun, with nowhere in particular to be.

Editor's Choice Part 2!
The sun was low, the lines were sharp, and this R34 moved like it had nothing to prove. Rolling through Arizona’s backroads with equal parts aggression and grace, this V·Spec - one of the cleanest we’ve seen - turned the desert into a proving ground. Factory white over black, gold Brembos matching the badges, and that unmistakable RB tone made it a shoot we won’t forget.

Making art and showing our perspective to the world is far more than a job, but a deep passion. We are just as grateful for the car owners at the weekend cars & coffee events, as any inquiries you send. The media allows us to constantly reminisce of peaceful, petrol-filled mornings. We hope that you can join us and see where the road leads.
