Surprise! A special Saturday rendition of the Jumoke newsletter! But the best surprise? Getting a call about a delivery being as early as another you were expecting tomorrow. This was the case for our friend Troy, @desert911s, who graciously invited us to cover this special morning.

The first of two trucks to arrive hailed from Canepa, bringing the beloved 959 back home along with a car that is sure to become a new favorite for many - the Ruf Turbo R Limited. This stunning example is one of only seven made, first presented at the Geneva Auto Show in 2016. Finished in Fashion Grey and fitted with stunning copper Ruf wheels, this car has 25% more horsepower than the normal Turbo R, and we can't wait to see it around!

A special delivery from Graham Rahal Performance brought more goodies, one of which is not your ordinary 964. If you couldn't tell from the window-mounted side mirrors and the roll cage, this is a 964 Carrera Cup. One of only fifty, this particular example was finished in Maritime Blue before the color existed in the Porsche catalog. If you get a chance to experience this car firsthand, we can only describe it as a complete overload of the senses.
Troy considers the 964 "pure Porsche" – air-cooled, lightweight, and a blast to drive just about anywhere.

If you think you saw some images of this car a few weeks ago, no you didn’t! We’re honored to be the first to officially present this Carrera GT recommission.
The opportunity for this car was given to Troy when he was getting his Singer DLS from Rahal, and he couldn’t pass it up. The chance to re-imagine this car from the ground up – it took much deliberation to get the spec just right. Ultimately, Troy chose a beautiful pearl white paint for the exterior and interior pieces, along with Indigo Blue to match the wheels of his 992 GT3RS and stunning blue leather interior to boot.
If there was any debate about the better sounding V10, getting a ride in this car will definitely sell you on the CGT. The exhaust was custom built at Graham Rahal Performance, along with a new suspension and front axle lift to (hopefully) avoid scrapes easily. Troy can’t imagine a drive in this thing will ever really feel normal, but we think that’s all anyone can hope for!

We wanted to finish off by extending our deepest gratitude to Troy for the invitation to join him on such a special occasion. Seeing his enthusiasm and spending the better part of the morning with these cars only made us appreciate them more. We can only hope that we did these cars justice.
Thank you for reading this special edition of the Jumoke newsletter, we hope to continue creating content like this in the future.
